KNUT HANSEN offers products made from selected regional ingredients. Nordic, regional, delicious. It is important to us to act as sustainably as possible.
The majority of our botanicals come from the region. We attach great importance to high-quality raw materials without flavor enhancers, colorings or preservatives.
Gin production is a complex process. We use green electricity to produce our KNUT HANSEN DRY GIN.
Our corks are made of natural cork from Portugal. Our shipping packaging is made from recycled paper and has been designed so that no additional filling material has to be used.
Ceramic is an environmentally friendly material, which is made from natural raw materials with a low environmental impact. Our ceramic bottles are completely recyclable.
All of our company cars (except for our legendary KNUT HANSEN BULLI) are electric cars.
We actively support where we can – humanity is a precious good.
Timbercoast is fighting for clean oceans and green sea transport through wind energy. Together with Timbercoast, we launched our first special edition in 2019 and supported the idea of the organization as a partner.
WAVES FOR CHANGE
In South Africa, one of our first markets, we are cooperating with WAVES FOR CHANGE. We donate 5% of our profit for every bottle sold in South Africa to this wonderful organization to strengthen the local community.
The Millerntor Gallery is an international art, music and culture festival that transforms art into donations. We supported the Millerntor Gallery in 2020 with 5 euros per bottle of our special edition sold.
Due to the pandemic, many bars, restaurants and caterers are losing their foundation. We took this as an opportunity in 2020 to donate 20 euros for every bottle sold in our online shop to the CLUBKOMBINAT for several months.
